Danielle Martineau
Danielle Martineau, Pilates & Yoga Instructor
Danielle brings a rich and diverse background to her practice, rooted in a lifelong exploration of the mind-body connection.
Danielle’s journey began in the world of dance and musical theater, where her love of movement first took root. During her college years, she deepened that passion by earning certifications in both Pilates and Yoga.
With more than a decade of experience as a psychotherapist, Danielle brings a compassionate and informed approach to her teaching. She is trained in multiple therapeutic modalities, including EMDR, CBT, TF-CBT, and Trauma-Sensitive Yoga. In 2013, she completed her 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Patty Townshend and is now completing her Comprehensive Pilates Certification with Balanced Body Master Instructors Zayna Gold and Liv Nurmi of Boston Body.
Danielle believes that true wellness resonates from the inside out. She teaches that cultivating a positive relationship with our bodies and minds is the foundation for growth. As an instructor, she is committed to supporting clients with respect for their unique abilities and experiences. She believes in the transformative power of the Pilates system—helping students discover the balance between strength and graceful movement, while moving toward a pain-free, easeful way of living.
Her classes go beyond physical exercise. Danielle encourages students to explore how they talk to themselves, how they care for their minds, and how they bring that awareness into life off the mat. For her, movement is a pathway to thriving—in body, mind, and community.
